For current teaching volunteers only.
Volunteers observe programs/fieldtrips for their own enrichment. May include school field trips or public programs. Public programs may be found here: Calvert Nature Society - Calendar (calvertparks.org)
Volunteers will be asked to arrive about 30 minutes before the program begins and stay about 30 minutes after the program ends.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current and active teaching volunteer.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must successfully complete a background check -
- For Non-CHESPAX events - the CCPR background check - Background Checks | Calvert County, MD - Official Website (calvertcountymd.gov)
- For CHESPAX programs - Calvert County Public Schools background check and meet with CHESPAX staff to have their ID verified. This must be completed each year. at the beginning of the school year. Start at the school website: Become a Volunteer - Calvert County Public School District (calvertnet.k12.md.us) No fingerprinting is required. Select "Field Trip Chaperone" when asked.
Preregistration is required - please sign up a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
