Come one and all and spend a few hours lending a hand to spruce up the grounds at Battle Creek Cypress Swamp for the spring. Tasks include gardening, litter pick up, cleaning outdoor spaces, invasive removal and more! All ages 9 and up, youth 15 and under must have an adult present. This is a great event for service groups!! Service hours are available.
We will provide all tools and protective equipment. Be aware that the nature center is still without power, water and indoor facilities. There is a portable restroom and hand cleaning station provided. Volunteers should wear long sleeves and pants, sturdy shoes and bring water.
