We will be doing winter maintenance activities for the Barn Owl project at a private property. On this day we will be cleaning out the nest box, replace damaged parts of the box and trimming vegetation away from the nest box.
Meet at 10:30 am at the Battle Creek Cypress Swamp Nature Center and travel in the County van and private vehicles.
Dress for the weather and wear clothes that can get muddy. Please bring work gloves.
You may want to bring water and a snack.
There is no running water at the site, port-a-pots are available.
