For this work session on February 24, we plan to clean out 3 nest boxes: 2 at one location and the other at another location. We will also trim vegetation away from the nest box sites as needed.
We will meet at the parking lot for the Huntingown (Smoky Rd) Wildlife Management Area- at the end of Smoky Road. We will meet at 9am. We will carpool to the nest box sites.
The work will entail walking to at least one nest box site and carrying ladders and brush trimming equipment.
Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
Bring work gloves. water, lunch and any snacks you might want.
