Volunteers assist park staff in repairing erosion damage to the trails at Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm in Prince Frederick.
Duties include:
- Remove debris and obstacles from trails
- Install water bars to divert runoff
Time Commitment: 3 hours
NOTE: There is a chemical toilet, but no water available at the park.
Materials and Equipment: Hand tools will be provided. Volunteers should bring work gloves, water bottles and any necessary lunch or trail snacks.
We recommend wearing of masks when working indoors or when 3' distance between people cannot be maintained.
Special Skills: Work will be performed outside. Work performed requires the exertion of moderate to heavy physical effort and may involve lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
