We are starting our winter projects for the Barn Owls of the Patuxent River program. On this date we will be cleaning out one nest box, installing a faux porch on it; traveling to another nearby nest box to trim vegetation away from the box, and then traveling to a third nest box to repair the roof and add flashing.
Meet at Battle Creek Cypress Swamp at 10am to carpool to the nest box sites.
Note this opportunity is limited to 10 participants.
Dress for the weather; you may wish to bring water and a snack.
