This training is required before responding to the Nature Center Aide opportunity. Volunteers will shadow a staff member to learn about the duties and tasks performed by a volunteer Nature Center Aide at the Battle Creek Cypress Swamp Nature Center. The Nature Center Aide volunteer provides a warm welcome and useful information to our visitors about exhibits, activities, services, and more. Volunteers engage with visitors and inspire visitors to explore the Cypress Swamp exhibit and trails. Nature Center Aides provide essential services and assist Division staff.
