Take an adventure in the county van to Blackwater NWR to do some birding and report our species list to eBird. We will take the driving tour loop and stop at pull-offs along the way to get out and take a closer look at the birds. Depending how long we're at the refuge, we can check out some nearby birding hotspots too.
What to bring:
- a bag lunch
- binoculars (optional). We have a limited number for people to borrow, and will also bring a spotting scope.
- money for snacks (We will stop for drinks/snacks/restroom break on the way to & from the refuge)
