Every winter Conowingo Dam becomes one of the most impressive areas to view Bald Eagles. The outflow from the dam provides easy hunting grounds for them and also provides a great spot for people to take in the show.
Be sure to bring your camera as this will be one of the best opportunities to get some great photos of the eagles.
We will meet at Kings Landing Park and take the county van up to Conowingo Fisherman's Park. Once there we will have a spotting scope and binoculars for everyone to use to get close up looks at these amazing birds.
Bring a lunch to have while at the park.
**This trip is for volunteers who have completed at least 1 volunteer shift in 2024**
