The annual reports of many of our volunteer programs are now available. These reports highlight our accomplishments for the year. The contributions of all of our volunteers, financial support from the Calvert Nature Society and the staff support from Calvert County Parks & Recreation Natural Resources Division have made quite an impact in Calvert County!
We had 130 regular volunteers record 8,173 hours in 2025; an increase from 2024 (7,785 hours). The dollar value of our volunteers was $290,386. The hourly value of volunteers was calculated at $35.53. (https://independentsector.org/researc/value-of-volunteer-time/) In addition, we had more than 224 volunteers contribute 719 hours helping with scout, youth and service groups.
