We will be doing winter maintenance activities for the Barn Owl project at Smoky Road Wildlife Management Area. On this day we will be cleaning out two nest boxes, installing faux porches on the boxes, trimming vegetation away from the nest boxes, and moving one marsh box.
Meet at 10am in the parking lot for the wildlife management area at the end of Smoky Road.
Dress for the weather and wear clothes that can get muddy. Please bring a pair of long-handled loppers if you have some.
You may want to bring water and a snack.
