As spring migration winds down, our summer birds turn to breeding. The Third Maryland/DC Breeding Bird Atlas is a five-year project to map what birds now breed where. You can find evidence of breeding while watching birds in your yard, wandering your neighborhood, or enjoying the outdoors anywhere. In this meeting, we will discuss how to recognize birds' breeding activities and how to contribute your observations to the atlas.
