Gardening volunteers are needed to help with general weeding and mulching of the gardens at King Memorial Park in Prince Frederick. Ages 9 and up. Youth under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All tools will be provided. Participants should bring water, wear clothing that can get dirty and consider sun and insect protection. Long pants and sleeves are recommended. Service hours can be earned for participating. Parking for King Memorial is off Duke Street behind the Community Resources Building.
