Monarch butterflies are important pollinators. But why else should we work to conserve these striking orange insects? Come learn all about Monarchs, ways to get involved, and go for a short hike looking for them.
All ages are welcome. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear bug spray and SPF.
Don't forget to bring a large full water bottle.
Please meet at Pavilion 2 inside Kings Landing Park.
Directions: Once you have entered the park, you will pass a gravel lot and play space on your left After the second speed bump there is a gravel road to the Equestrian Center and Pavilion 2 on your left. (If you get to the next intersection leading down the pool you have gone too far.) Follow the gravel road to the pavilion.
