Teaching volunteers (new and returning) gather with the naturalist staff to get ready for the spring school group season. We will get reacquainted with each other and review the new version of the 3rd grade CHESPAX Terrapins program.
Much of the scheduling for the spring season will happen today, so please bring your calendars/computers/smart phones to pick your dates.
Meet at the Flag Ponds Nature Park education building. Bring something to write with and on, your calendar/laptop/smart phone for scheduling, and your coffee mug (coffee and morning snacks are provided).

Qualifications: New volunteers must successfully complete an Education Volunteer Orientation and Calvert County Public Schools 2-part background check to sign up for shadow/teaching shifts.
