Above we have Griffin (he/they) with our ratsnake and below they are holding our kingsnake. Griffin joined the animal care volunteer team this summer and we are thrilled to have his weekly help. He usually comes in Mondays and Fridays and really helps socialize our snakes! We appreciate the enrichment so that our snakes are comfortable when they attend programs. Griffin is planning to go to college in the fall next year and possibly will be majoring in zoology. Griffin also thinks this is a great way of figuring out if he will get his own snake one day. We are happy to hear that not only are our animals benefiting from this program, but our volunteers are too!
