Who We Are
Calvert Stewards promote our parks and programs at community events like Patuxent River Appreciation Days, the County Fair, Green Expo, National Night Out and more.
Ideas for displays, hands-on projects and engaging activities are always needed.
What We Do
- Participate in community/local neighborhood events
- Help other volunteers with set up and tear down of the event
- Answer questions regarding animal welfare from the community
- Work with the naturalist in charge to be aware of events coming up in the area
- Display materials are provided
- Stay up-to-date on the variety of services and opportunities offered by Calvert Nature Society and Calvert County Natural Resources Division
- Create new content and engaging activities for the table display
