Who We Are

Staff and volunteers participate in a variety of research projects designed to monitor amphibian population density and health. Volunteers must participate in training in order to assist with projects.

What We Do

FrogWatch volunteers visit local sites where frogs can be heard calling and log the calls that are heard. Strict monitoring protocol must be followed for data collection and submission. Please attend a scheduled training if you are interested!

**Content is the same for all trainings, you only need to pick ONE training to attend**

Salamander monitoring will begin in Fall of 2023. Volunteers will join staff at Ward Farm Recreation and Nature Park in Dunkirk, Maryland to monitor selected sites for presence of Eastern Red-backed salamanders.
